Responsabilités dans l'unité

I am a PhD Student at the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle, in Paris.

I am working on the « Evolution and distribution of the Neotropical clearwing butterfly tribe Ithomiini (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae: Danainae) under global changes ».

To carry out this project, I explore several topics:

1/ I am building a new phylogeny for the group from WGS data employing phylogenomic methods.

2/ I use Citizen Science and machine learning tools to design classification of mimetic patterns.

3/ I run Environmental Niche Models to map the current and future distributions of ithomiine butterflies and study their large scale diversity patterns.

4/ I investigate the consequences of Global changes on their mimetic interactions in the framwork of interaction networks.

 

Altogether, my research interests revolve around Ecology, Systematics and Macroevolution.
