Adapting protected areas network to global change: the case of wintering waterbirds
My PhD thesis aims to:
Assess the exposure of Key Biodiversity Areas to climate change and land-use modifications ;
Project the impact of sea-level rise on coastal mediterranean wetlands and their waterbirds communities ;
Evaluate the effects of land-use modifications and changes in temperature and precipitation on wintering waterbirds communities in order to project future abundances and assess future protected areas network efficiency.
